This hotel is in an excellent location. Lovely rooms and friendly staff. Great food choices with plenty of fresh fruits etc for breakfast and plenty of dinner choices. Very relaxed atmosphere at pool areas. Night time entertainment was very good too. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Just back from an amazing trip to the Alay hotel in Benalmadena, we were there for 10 nights ,a spotlessly clean hotel fantastic staff, so friendly and helpful . Food was plentiful and great choice replenished frequently and a microwave to heat your food if you like it hotter. No issue's getting sun loungers at any time of the day. No mad rush to put towels on a bed to reserve. I'm not someone who likes to lie and cook in the sun so only went to the garden ares to sit in the shade and read a book for an hour but if I wanted to lie on a lounger there were plenty to choose from they also have sun loungers on the beach which you pay for beach us a very short walk away .The location of the hotel is excellent short walk to the beach turn left when you come out of the hotel same for the harbour or turn right and a short walk to the top of the main road where you can get a bus in either direction I used the bus to go to the markets friday market in benalmadena tuesday market in fuengirola and thursday market in torremolinos bus leaves you right at the market or a very short walk and you get the bus back again just on the other side of the street from where you were dropping off . Room cleaning us on a daily basis with clean towels every day rooms were always spotless and staff lovely .Kettle and cups tea /coffee not provided in the room but I knew this before we went so was not an issue as I brought my own and a grocery shop just accross the road ir right at the harbour for milk fridge in the room .Plenty of lovely toiletries, shampoo conditioner, and moisturiser. The hotel also has a lovely area for reading and relaxing and borrowing books. There is also an information area where reps have their books for trips there us also a games area .Evening entertainment each night was entertaining and finished prompt 11.30 pm The hotel also has a spa area but I did not use it ir the gym I highly recommend this hotel to anyone we had a fabulous stay in June for 10 nights bed and breakfast but we were able to book in for the evening meal any night we wanted to which was great as it allowed us to try a few of the many restaurants at the harbour We will definitely be back

Excellent location close by the beach and marina. Good hotel,our rooms 958/59 where a good size , clean with comfy beds. The side sea view was excellent, good shower and free safe . The hotel itself as a lovely seating area, 2 bars and entertainment, quite lively. Pools are a bit small but there are 2, not a problem though with the beach 50 meters away. Staff where friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

Arrived about 10.30 am & they rushed and our room ready for 12. Lovely hotel, room was very clean, no complaints at all! Been to the Costa Del Sol over 30 times & this is one of the nicest hotels we’ve been in! Going back in July, staying in a Junior suite, can’t wait!

Stayed for a girls weekend trip and was handy as right on the marina. Reception stuff (women) extremely rude on arrival and unhelpful. Pool bar staff were doing their best but queues were horrendous for drinks throughout the day - need someone making cocktails and 2 others serving normal drinks. Lunch reasonably priced and a good salad. Breakfast was nothing to be excited about. Fridge in our room was broken and asked twice to get it fixed but no one came up, View was terrible but it’s a building site so can’t really be helped!! Room basic - why no mirrors for a room of 3? Only mirrored wardrobes the far side of room, and hardly any storage for 3 people so lived out of suitcases not ideal. Don’t believe it’s a 4 star but as I said it did the job for the short time we were here. Had i been here for longer would’ve been an issue. Beds comfortable but no duvets only sheets so cold at night. Water pressure from shower was up and down. Towel hire 10 euro and could only change every 2 days? Room only cleaned once and still dirty glasses and empty bottles left around. Wouldn’t return.
