I had a fantastic stay. Really good location, within a 5 minute walk from the beach and shops too. 20 mins walk to the Dunes of Maspalomas also! The room was so spacious and very clean - it had a balcony with a pool view and a "break out area" with a sofa and coffee table if you needed somewhere to work or chill without being in bed. There was such a variety of food throughout the day at the restaurant & a snack bar by the pool if you missed the food. The Daiquiri was my favourite cocktail but there were plenty to chose from - not all are included with all inclusive. Really good value for money to be honest. I'd especially like to thank Antonia from the entertainment team. She was incredibly friendly and made the activities and evening entertainment so much fun. Best bingo fairy of all! If the hotel could pass on my thanks, I'd really appreciate it =]
Lovely staff, great entertainment team. Rooms are so clean and spacious. However the All inclusive is misleading, you have to pay extra for a lot. Crisps are extra; ice creams are extra unless in a tiny kids box; pina coladas are extra. The food also isn’t covered at meal times meaning there were flies landing on the food frequently which stressed me out. Breakfast and snack time was great but at dinner a lot of the food was cold. But overall had a great time.
We booked this very last minute with our two boys and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is small and out the way of the busy hustle and bustle of Playa Del Ingles but a 5 minute walk to bars etc and not too far from the beach. I have to say that the restaurant staff / management honestly are incredible. We were all inclusive and the food was so different every day - plenty choice and it differed non-stop. The fruit on offer was incredible and our kids loved this. They also had an Italian station with pasta, pizza etc every night and this was fab. The restaurant wasn’t huge but just perfect. The breakfasts were fab - usual eggs, sausages, bacon etc but also granola/yoghurt pots freshly made up that morning and absolutely delicious. The pool was large and very quiet while we stayed there. The kids pool was good and the hot tub just behind it. There was a park round the back of the hotel which was okay - not great - could be upgraded but did the job for the week. We were in the last room on the ground level - perfect for pool/restaurant but the noise level in the bar with drunken Germans a few nights was something else. I did make a complaint about the noise but we were offered the same room but two floors up …. Same situation so didn’t really make a difference so we stayed put. Rooms were large and pull out couch for kids and bedroom for parents, with balcony from there. Plenty space for a family of 4. Staff were lovely and I couldn’t fault them. Bar staff (Daniel) and others were great fun! Entertainment team for mini discos was absolutely crap. I’m not going to lie. We went to Abora hotel for the entertainment as we stayed there last year. The night we took our boys to the mini disco in this hotel - the woman moaned non-stop at them to sit on the stage (it’s a disco - there’s meant to be music and dancing) but instead she sat speaking German to 2 kids and our boys were bored rigid. After 30 mins of this, we left and went to Abora as a mini disco should be easy to run but there was barely any music - just chat. Kids don’t want chat. Play the music. The outside entertainment that came in to hotel was fab don’t get me wrong but the kids mini disco was a waste of time and definitely needs work and enthusiasm added to it to make it a success. Otherwise - go elsewhere. Apart from the mini disco, the hotel itself was fab and we loved our time here. Great for a wee week in the sun!
Just home from an enjoyable week. In a nutshell: The rooms - large clean, really nice bathrooms and shower Extra sofa bed area, can accommodate 4 if needs be Overlooked the pool area, well pleased The food- excellent choice for breakfast, lunch and evening meal not enough choice particularly meats, repetitive dishes. Ate out 2 evenings for variety Mr Whippy ice cream was lovely, only on once in the week Evening entertainment- geared to German guests, usually went out or played cards Drinks - only 4 cocktails on AI and not including my favourite pina colada which as 7 euros Pool bar open from 10.30 but gave little shade from the heat. Struggle sometimes to get a chair in the shade to read, need more shaded areas outside Overall had a lovely week, just disappeared with the drinks choices and food
Staff were amazing and the food was really good. Some rooms were a little dated. I liked it that the rooms stayed nice and cool. Receptionists Lisett and Sandra were both very helpful. Rooms cleaned very well and reception smells lovely.
