Definitely not a 4 star hotel … room was clean which is great. Towels in room very substandard. Roof top pool and area minimal … and all inclusive it’s not really

Very disappointed with this hotel and would not rate it as a 4-star property. The pool area was shabby, dated, and in need of serious refurbishment. Most of the sunbeds were broken and extremely uncomfortable, and there were no umbrellas or shaded areas available, making it difficult to spend any time around the pool. To make matters worse, there was no poolside bar for the majority of our stay. If you wanted a drink, you had to climb two flights of stairs and then take a lift five floors, which was very inconvenient. The pool bar only opened on the last day of our holiday. The room itself was average at best. There was a kettle and two mugs provided, but no teaspoons and no tea or coffee supplied, which seemed like a basic omission. When we checked out at 12 noon, our flight wasn’t until 11:40 pm. We asked about a late checkout but were refused. We then asked if there was a room available where we could shower and change before our evening flight, only to be told there wasn’t one and that we should use the shower next to the pool, which offered virtually no privacy. The food was also very average and certainly not what we would expect from a hotel claiming to be 4-star. Overall, this hotel failed to meet our expectations in several areas and is definitely not deserving of its 4-star rating.

In my opinion this hotel is certainly not a four star. It probably ticks the official star criteria just but in reality it’s more like a 3 star The rooms are good and pretty well equipped but the rest of the hotel is a little tired We went all inclusive and that is one of the main issues. Very limited and extremely poor quality drink selection. The house spirits are dispensed through a pump (like the one used for fizzy drinks) and tasted very watery I’m not wine connoisseur but the wine on offer (only red or white) was as bad as I have tasted. To be fair the beer (Amstel) was ok The food scores an ‘OK’ but never been near to 4 star quality. We like Spanish food when in Spain so pretty much found something to eat every night but the variety and quality was average and dinner was clearly prepared utilising what was left from the previous service TIP. Dispensed drinks are included during meal service even if you’re not all inclusive. Location is ok because we like walking but it’s a good 15 min downhill walk to the beach and obviously similar albeit uphill on the way back Staff were pleasant in all areas of the hotel and it was clean Pool on the roof is again ok but small and very deep The few sun-beds that there are need replacing immediately as they are a crops between a broken sun-bed and a hammock. Would we return ? . I’m afraid not
