Me and my boyfriend stayed at the barracuda hotel for 8 days at the beginning of June, we stayed in a frontal sea view room and were half bored. When we arrived we paid the extra money for the frontal sea view which was 97 euros and it was definitely worth. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is perfect but the hotel does have a few let downs. The breakfast was always very good and gave you plenty of choice however the dinners were always cold unless the meats are cooked in front of you but if it isn’t then the food won’t be hot even the specialty meat they had on offer that they cut up for you is cold which is very disappointing also most dishes are labelled very well which is concerning. The bar staff can be great but sometimes they can be rude, my boyfriend ordered some lunch at the bar just some chips and was left waiting fifteen minutes then he enquired to one of the barmen and was told it hadn’t been put through to the kitchen. The pool area is lovely but the pool itself needs some TLC as a lot of the tiles have come off. The day entertainer was amazing and so fun we loved him. The cleaners were outstanding and cleaned our room excellently. Oh and I must not forget to mention the rooftop bar it’s absolutely amazing and the drinks were delicious. Overall we would stay at the barracuda again but only bed and breakfast and definitely with a frontal sea view room.

Just returned from a solo trip to this hotel. Excellent location, right on the beach, great pool area, loads of Sunbeds, quite strict on those who leave their towels out & disappear, Rooms good, spacious, great English TV, comfy bed, very clean. Bathroom a little dated, but shower very good. 10 minute walk to Marina, loads of places to eat & drink close by. Rooftop bar excellent, entertainment could be better- views amazing! Staff very helpful. No shower room available if you have a late checkout. Way better than 3 star, great value will definitely stay again. Didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on food.

This is our 2nd time staying at Barracuda and have already booked our return trip next year! Fantastic hotel ideally located right on the beach. Rooms are clean, food is good. We miss Frankie from the entertainment team from last year, but Elliott absolutely made our holiday as he did last year! He remembered us from last year and looked after us like family again this year - such an amazing, welcoming, hard working man! Look forward to seeing you next year Elliott!! 😀

This was the 3rd time staying at this hotel as the location is so perfect. Each time we've stayed, we have paid for a sea view room & we feel it is worth the extra cost. Rooms have always been perfectly adequate & I'd like to give the housekeeping team a shout out as they do a lovely daily cleaning job (providing you place the relevant sign on the door). We've always booked half board as its an easier option for us & although we previously haven't been overly impressed with the evening food, we were happy to find that this time around, they have listened to the past criticisms & pulled out all the stops to get it right. We were very happy this year with the evening food options & it was very apparent they were constantly monitoring the food trays to make sure nothing ran out. Well done La Barracuda. Hotel location has easy public transport access to places such as Benalmadena, Fuengerola, Mijas, Malaga & I'm sure many other places. All in all we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel
