Like any other hotels , this one has its problems and good points. They both go hand in hand . The photos may be nice when you book .
When you get here ,it might be different The missing paint on the walls do stand out .
please take the time to walk around the hotel
What you see is what you pay for. But how close do you look for the money you paid?
Let's start , transfer for the airport to the hotel. You should get a message , where your transfer bus is. Not me .
The mini bus was very slow under power.
Arrived the repction was cool and pleasant ,clean tidy. Nice welcome .
The rooms .
The first thing that hits you is the strong smell of bleach ,like an old swimming pool . And you can taste it in your mouth . After that the room was nice clean tidy , and spacious. The hotel is very spacious and airy . Lots of room to walk and to get around in wheel chairs .
The rooms
Down side no shower curtain or door to keep the water in the shower. No kettle is a very sore point. If you need the morni cuppa before bed and after waking up. Bring your own travel kettle . No sugar ,coffee or milk , in the room .
A cost to use the safe , when other hotels don't charge . This needs to change .
The internet is free ,but has its problems as well. Keeps cutting out and have to reload now and then . The lifts are very slow . But a fridge is in .
There are four pools ,life guards are few and hard to find . If you see one it's for the two eye candy pools .
Chunks of tiles are missing in all pools . Some showers don't work around the pools.
Sun loungers are filthy and they need a very good clean .
There is no rush to reverse your lounger . Only around the pool bar area. There are places if you want to be chill ,for relaxing time alone .
Sun loungers and Parasols are dirty and some don't work.
Outside.
The building has major repairs doing big cracks in the farsard all over in Paint missing all over the site . Rusting metal support bars showing .
The view from the road is big and large . But paint work lets it down . There may be a few lights at night , showing the hotel name .
Access to the beach . There is a lift that goes down 5 levels. But to get to the road, that's another level.bThis lift can be found across for the pool bar .
Lots of stairs and raps to get to the main road ., at the bottom bit.
More paint work missing along the way.
Resurant.
The food is ok like any other hotel. A larger range of food is needed . Bring your own tea and coffee . Limited sollection.
The beach is over the road through a security gate ,and can be opened by your room key .
It's a ten minute walk ,but longer if you have walking problems.
In all this is a very nice hotel. But the problems are showing like other hotels .
I know hotels cannot get 100% .
It's not perfect . Nobody can get 100% . But if you're on a budget and spend a small fortune . You expect to get at least 95% .
For me ,I would like the hotel management to walk around, get out of the office and talk to the guest and see what things could be improved , and make the guest feel important.
Look where repairs are needed . Take a photo and get these eye sores fixed . Please put customers ,first before profits .
Yes I would like to come again . And would recommend it to family and friends . For the money I paid is not value for money because for the work is needed and slight improvements needed, all over .
As you can tell from this review,I'm been very ,honest

Honestly do not listen to reviews about this hotel we had a great experience for our first couples holiday. We had seen reviews about people getting robbed etc however if you buy a safe like we did you will be absolutely fine the safe was €30 deposit and you get 15 back which is definitely worth it.The food you can’t really complain about if your fussy they have pasta, fish fingers pizza hotdogs etc for the price of a cheap hotel we thought the food was great,There are great drink options aswell we even asked the bartenders for some more alcohol in our drinks and they was happy to do so.The hotel is in a great location perfectly inbetween the golden mile and veronica’s strip with plenty of food and pubs around to go to.The rooms where very big and clean however there is no air conditioning but you can buy this in reception.Overall we had a great stay in this hotel and i would 100% go back.

Las Pirámides Resort aparthotel in Playa de las Americas is fairly centrally located amongst several bars and restaurants. It is a short walk (~ 10 minutes) to the beach and the coastal walkway that goes all the way to the ferry port and Los Cristianos beaches to the Playa Fañabe and Las Palomas beaches (possibly beyond). It is about 20 minutes walk from Siam Park (huge water park) and handy for many entertainment venues. Veronica’s strip is less than 10 minutes walk away.
It is, at best, very basic accommodation, despite having a bar, restaurant and swimming pools, as well as an in-hotel shop. It is situated within walking distance of several supermarkets and the competition means that items are fairly cheap.
The rooms have a safe (£ charge), TV, fridge, kettle and microwave, but no air-conditioning, though a fan is available (£ charge). Bath/shower, toilet and bidet.
I can’t understand why safes are considered chargeable items. Who goes to a hotel without money, a passport, and other items of value? Surely the safe ought to be included in the price.
The door “card key” often did not work on the first attempt. The cleaner demonstrated the technique of “handle up, handle down, insert key, remove key, wait for the green light; repeat until it works!”
Cleanliness was extremely poor. I noticed that there were stains on the bathroom floor that had not been cleaned in the first 10 days I was there. That might explain the 8 cockroaches I saw, 2 in the fridge (I think they hid in the lining of the seal). If you decide to go, don’t leave ANY foodstuffs uncovered, either in the cupboards or the fridge! When the cleaner did use the mop, after I complained to reception, it seemed to be with very little water and nothing else. I’d have expected bleach and lots of it, to deter the cockroaches.
I was Half-Board. I think the vast majority of clients were on All Inclusive. The buffet style food was simple, not terribly exciting, but there was always a choice. There seemed to be some confusion over whether HB included drinks with my meal. I didn’t get charged for one glass of wine, but did the next evening (€2.50); then got a complimentary glass of “lemonade” (lemon flavoured fizzy water) the next night, but charged the following evening (€2.50). Considering that actual Coca Cola was €1 a can in the local shop, I considered this a bit of a rip-off! Especially as I had paid £1,091 for 14 nights HB, whereas others had paid £400 for 7 nights AI to Jet2, January booking. It seems last minute holiday prices have taken a sudden increase, probably because of the warmongering in the Middle East.
I ate out several times at various places during my stay, skipping the “dinner” portion of my HB, due to the lack of variety and flavours in the buffet meals.
If you’re on a tight budget, I suppose AI would be reasonable choice, though a few people on AI pointed out that they had bought their own alcoholic beverages from the supermarket in addition to drinking in the bar. I suspect the bar liquor was not fully proofed.
It’s a very basic hotel, ideal as a base to visit the local venues, but it has the potential to be so much more. They were replacing the entrance tiles, previously cracked marble, with new concrete ones. I think it would have been a better idea to replace the key card readers on each door, increase the number of sockets in each room (the kettle and microwave shared one socket, for example), and add air conditioning (it must be hell in mid-summer without it).
