We have stayed at this hotel many years ago and upon arrival we could see that it has had a lot of improvements done to it. However the hotel services seem to have dropped dramatically. I'll try and make it succinct but i think I'll fail....Rooms cleanish but very small..Plenty of choice for breakfast..but not hot...and you actually got drinks at breakfast..We made the mistake of having a breakfast and evening meal package...no drinks with your evening meal,i kid you not, (which once again certainly wasn't hot )unless you want a warm tap water that you would maybe give to your dog, you have to pay...we are well travelled and NEVER not had access to cold water in a meal package..disgraceful...and boy did the staff take pleasure in offering us a warm tap water...The pool area is ok but the way it is policed is terrible...guests are on holiday and most are there for the sun...this hotel unfortunately is one of those that doesn't let you in it till 10 am although they were generous after a couple of days and gave you an extra half hour..im surprised they didn't charge people for it. What are people supposed to do before the pool opens? We went to the beach after 2 days of that. We were quite peckish come lunchtime on our first full day so looked at the snack menu fancied some chips and coleslaw..got in the queue which was very long as the poor people who had gone all inclusive could only get 2 drinks off a very limited drinks menu..so if you were a group of 8...4 had to queue..ridiculous... Any way I digress..I was in this long queue..only one person serving..3 others were doing an excellent job at looking busy by doing absolutely nothing..I had plenty of time to observe them..when I eventually got to the counter and asked for aforementioned chips and coleslaw I was told I couldn't have them unless I had a main meal..I thought i had misheard her but no...I showed her the snack menu but she just kept shaking her head and pointing to the main meals saying I had to order them to get snacks...the people in the queue behind me were as perplexed as I was...off to a cafe it was. The hotel is so regimental with rules for everything..when they reply to this review they will mention that you should know all this before because its written down somewhere...you are going on holiday..you want to turn up..unpack and enjoy the sun..not read pages of rules and regulations..its not a prison...you are there to relax. Oh and they charge €3.5 a day to rent a towel...obviously I didn't see one by the pool. Clueless.

We are enjoying Palmasol at the moment. Excellent barbecue, excellent hotel!

Everything, location, service, cleanliness food was excellent. Room size an issue. We had a family room. The beds were amazing but little space to move around and not quite enough storage space, but overall would definitely visit again.

Lots of positives about this hotel. Just returned from 2 weeks all inclusive but so close to bars and restaurants would be a good b&b option too. Great food, clean rooms with very efficient air con, immaculate communal areas and pool toilets were superb. Have stayed at many hotels who says they have a no reserving sunbeds with towels policy but this hotel actually reinforces it and removes offenders towels which we found worked - we never had a problem getting a bed as a result. Thoroughly enjoyed pilates and yoga sessions with Nadia and Isabella who were brilliant and so friendly. Yes, there is building work going on opposite the hotel and our room looked onto this but we don't go on holiday to be in our room so it didn't bother us. My only negative is that I prefer outdoor dining, but the snack bar serves food outside and there is a weekly barbecue.

Nice hotel if you are looking for clean and great location. Let me start off by saying, this hotel was always very clean and smelt glorious, would love to know what they used. Similarly, would always see the cleaners making sure everything was clean and there was someone everyday checking the pool levels - we loved this. The pool area was lovely, was great how the ‘no reserving sun-beds’ rule was actually enforced! The hotel is the perfect location for Benalmadena/Torremolinos, the marina is opposite and can take a stroll down the promenade. We also took a ferry over to Fuengirola from a marina port to the Tuesday market as the hotel was also close to this. Benalmadena holds such a special something for my husband and I and the hotel was lovely for us. There were however a few things I would like to point out: - At the time of writing (June 2026), there are building works opposite the hotel. We were only advised of these once we had booked, I don’t however blame the hotel for this - I blame our agent for not advising at the time of booking. - Some of the front end staff unfortunately have a bit of an attitude - this is what I have given the less point for. - I had emailed soon after receiving the email about the building works being there and I had asked for details of an upgrade or a pool view room as we were there for our 11 year wedding anniversary. At this point, I was advised they will see what they can do at the time - there wasn’t any mention of a paid option to upgrade or different room so I assumed this meant they would keep us away from the building works. How wrong I was! When I spoke with them about it, I was very polite but unfortunately the lady I was speaking to become very defensive and told me I would need to go back 2 days after our arrival to see if there was another room available to keep away from the building works, by which point we would have already unpacked. We wasn’t entirely happy with how this situation was dealt with and we felt very brushed off! The accommodation/room was therefore a massive let down for us and we were very disappointed by it. Overall, a nice stay but I can’t say I would want to stay here again because of the mentioned! It did unfortunately put a bit of a downer on our holiday. However, if you like clean and great location above everything else - this is the right place for you.
