This is a very true post and true to my knowledge we are at the meridian hotel The staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean BUT the food is very poor as they have not catered for the British every thing is cold the lager is horrible so do you self a favour and go sc cos there is some nice restaurants Piccadilly, morris where the chicken tikkia masala is very nice, Jokers, and a lot more

This hotel is a nice hotel and in a great location ! The view from the restaurant upstairs overlooking the sea is amazing and if you in a front room you also get that amazing view overlooking the sea. During the day wherever you are pool / sat on the terrace you will get sun all day. My room was cleaned everyday and was given fresh towels everyday too. The choice of food well there is something for everyone and is ok and the cakes are lovely too ! Many people I speak with here say they would come back again to this hotel and for me is definitely coming back here again 100%.

Well what can I say about this hotel firstly don't believe the bad reviews this hotel is a fabulous hotel the food is excellent great choices to be had and good quality food .only downside is 1 toaster and cold plates but that really wasn't a problem staff work very hard for little gratude or thanks staff at reception happy to offer support I reported an issue with a wobbly toilet fixed it immediately so we'll impressed beds very comfortable and cleaning staff very good rooms immaculate. So much so have booked again for September keep up the high standards look forward to staying at the meridian again

Friendly, helpful but food wasn't particularly good and room cleaning although visited most days, beds not changed until the 9th day of a 10day stay. Entertainment not good, but bar staff, (pay bar) very friendly and helpful. Would I return? Prob not half board but B&B possibly. Rooms were comfortable, bathroom very compact for the bigger person and although the shower was excellent the floor was very slippery and needs a rubber mat possibly. But all in all, an enjoyable stay.

The cleaners leave a lot to be desired, room not cleaned for days, toilets down stairs stink the high heaven and some of the staff are rude and one of the cleaners on our floor (7) shouted at my husband 'i don't care' when he asked for clean towels, most of the food is cold too, won't be staying again I'm afraid
