Another fantastic stay at these lovely apartments could not fault them one little bit! From the comfort and cleanliness of the apartment to the great hard working staff! See you again in September
I will start with the cons. There’s no air con it’s ceiling fans only which has been fine for May for me but my husband struggled will probably be worse the hotter it gets. If you want entertainment there is none at this hotel not even music. Do not go half board evening options are very limited, and not children friendly. I will attach a menu of one evening. We are out nearly every night. Breakfast was fine all of your usual items. There is only wi fi at the pool bar. It’s 20 euros per device for seven days. Hotel is in a good location 15 minute walk to the beach. Bars and restaurants near by. The Pasarela centre is only a 10 minute walk and good for evening entertainment and the children. Rooms and hotel are very clean and comfortable the hotel is also very quiet and not rowdy and full of drunk loud holiday makers like you get at all inclusive places. Pool bar drinks and food are reasonable. One pizza and one chips fed 2 adults and 2 children. Good portion sizes. Are staff have been friendly minus one of the life guards who’s rude to everyone. Pool is VERY VERY DEEP all round apart from one tiny baby pool. No sun bed wars turn up when ever you’ll get a bed! It’s 3 euros each for an umbrella or a mat to go on your bed daily if you wish. Good kitchen facilities in rooms. Hair dryer to.
Stayed at Aguamar Apartments in Los Cristianos and, overall, I’d rate it average. The first impression was very positive. The hotel was spotless on arrival and easy to find, with our transfer dropping us directly outside reception. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the reception staff were exceptional throughout the stay: friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. They are without doubt the biggest asset of this property. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment. It was very clean overall, with only a small amount of dust around the wardrobe and desk areas. The apartment was functional but definitely dated, with basic furnishings that would benefit from modernisation. The bed was comfortable, and extra pillows and quilts were provided. All appliances worked, although many were showing their age. The bathroom appeared to have been recently renovated and was one of the strongest features of the apartment, with excellent water pressure and a reliable supply of hot water. Housekeeping standards were outstanding. Beds were made daily, towels were replaced regularly, and the public areas were immaculate. I was particularly impressed to see staff polishing the lift doors, an excellent example of the attention to detail that sets their cleaning standards apart. The pool area was adequate, although the main pool is relatively small. The standard sun loungers around the pool were very uncomfortable, and it was disappointing to find that guests had to pay extra to rent padded toppers. In contrast, the adults-only rooftop terrace was excellent, with very comfortable loungers available free of charge. Breakfast offered a good variety, but the quality was inconsistent depending on who was cooking. On some mornings the bacon and scrambled eggs were excellent; on others they were overcooked or watery. Dinner, however, was extremely poor and was by far the biggest disappointment of the stay. The selection was limited, meats were often tough and overcooked, and most dishes lacked flavor. In all honesty, it was some of the worst hotel food I have experienced. If you are considering half board, I would strongly advise against it. Aguamar is much better suited to self-catering, and there are far better restaurants nearby. One of the most dated aspects of the hotel is its policy of charging for Wi-Fi. In 2026, this feels completely out of step with modern guest expectations. The lack of air conditioning may also be an issue for some guests, although two ceiling fans were provided and worked reasonably well, albeit noisily. The hotel felt very safe and secure, with the main entrance locked overnight and accessible only by key card. Overall, Aguamar Apartments is a very clean and well-managed property with exceptional staff, but dated rooms, extra charges for basic amenities, and particularly poor evening food prevent me from recommending it for a half-board stay. If you are looking for a clean, affordable base in Los Cristianos and plan to self-cater or eat out, this hotel is a solid option. However, because of the food quality and additional charges, I personally would not return.
This is a nice basic hotel. The apartments are a great size and have most things you need. My bed was very comfortable but we had 2 rooms and the other rooms bed was like a rock. We had to speak to reception and they provided a mattress topper which greatly helped. Staff friendly although the life guard starts putting sun loungers away early in the day making it feel a bit awkward as if they want to tidy up. There were no sun bed wars and loungers aren’t put out until 10am. Plenty of space and loungers to go around. However you have to pay for a lounge cushion and umbrella which I think should be included. Breakfast is basic and standard, nothing special but has everything you need but the big bonus is breakfast is on to 11am! I would return here again
The apartments are very clean but basic thanks to the staff. They are very friendly on reception and we would return here.
