Worst breakfast I've ever had in 58 years of breakfasts! Grumpy staff and toilet paper rasioned line it's gold plated or something! Pool full of sweary Brits and signs up everywhere threatening fines…. For taking towels out ( £100) for damaging air conditioning ( £200) for losing key (£200!) . Want an extra met £50. Would not recommend. Thankfully Friends bar/ hotel opposite offers a good friendly service and a pool. Go there instead.
Overall, a good hotel in a great location, with clean rooms and a pleasant atmosphere. The location was one of the strongest points, making it easy to get around and enjoy the local area. The hotel itself was clean throughout, and housekeeping maintained the room well. The breakfast was acceptable but nothing special. Looking back, I probably wouldn't have paid extra for it and would have preferred to eat out instead. The bar prices were also excessive compared to nearby options. One area that could be improved is communication. Only around 20% of the staff seemed to understand English, which made some interactions more stressful than they needed to be. In a tourist-focused hotel, having staff with basic English skills would greatly improve the guest experience. The room was advertised as "superior", but it consisted of two single beds pushed together rather than a proper double bed. As "superior" generally suggests a higher standard of accommodation, this felt a little misleading. On the positive side, there was a nice little gym available for €10 per week, which was good value and a welcome addition. Despite a few issues, I had an enjoyable stay overall and would consider returning
This is our 2nd time and can not understand the bad reviews. It is about half hour from the airport. Check in was super fast and the staff so lovely. The room was really nice, large with a spacious balcony. There is a fridge but no kettle but we took a travel one and then put milk in the fridge. The bathroom was nice with a bath and shower however the bath is quite deep so if you have mobility issues you may need to ask for an accessible room. The room was lovely and clean and the cleaners were great, we couldn't fault them. The hotel has a lovely pool with plenty of sunbeds, no one reserves them as always plenty of space, the groundsmen are always about keeping the place tidy. There is an onsight shop open till late, a bar, kids play area and spa and gym. The strip is a 3 minute walk and a large supermarket just 1 minutes from the hotel. We will definitely be returning.
Close enough to the strip, about a 5 minute walk. Hotel lovely, staff very helpful, we had a member of our group ill and they got us medical help quickly. We got 3 double rooms in a row, all in great condition, cleaners came everyday, towels changed daily, breakfast was unusual, but we had toast, cereal, boiled fried or scrambled eggs every morning. We will all go back asap xx
Room 424 it was cheap .breakfast is ok if you ignore the "fried" stuff...its disgusting. the second buffet bar however is ok. i settled for made up toasties consisting a philadelphia type cheese spread with a peppery streak in it...gave it a kick.... and ham. excellent coffee but small cups and a wooden stick to stir it. pineapple juice. fed me up so im happy. room looks like it was kitted out with Ikea however the rooms were spacious lots of tables shelves suitcase racks to put your stuff. bed very comfortable .shower would be a problem for people with disabilities as the side of the bath is at least 30 inches tall. the shower itself was a constant temperature and the pressure was very strong contrary to reports of luke warm and trickling water. there is a balcony but mine didnt get much sun. standard plastic chairs. I recommend B&B as there are loads of cheap places to eat, The drunken sailor pub on the seafront was great for the football and cheap beer and food. To get to flower st leave hotel and turn right follow road to main carriageway and turn right,,,you will see the us shelter, jump on any 1 ,4, 5 or8 bus and get off the third stop and you right at the entrance of flower st....lots of good eating places i recommend the corner bar and dinner. going back head back to main road and turn right the bus shelter is a minutes walk, and again get off third stop and double back towards the other stop you used earlier and turn right and youll soon be back at the hotel
