I arrived at Hotel Cuco on Saturday, 13 June 2026 and was staying in room 405. During my stay, I found what appeared to be bed bugs in the room, which was extremely concerning. I chose to cut my holiday short and leave at 6am sunday the 14th because of this advising reception of my issue whilst waiting for a taxi to the airport. My friends remained at the hotel. The receptionist informed me that the room would be cleaned “tomorrow”. Since returning home, I have been informed by my friend that nobody came to inspect the room or address the cleanliness issue after I checked out, despite the assurance that action would be taken.

me and my wife stayed here for 3 nights, food was ok, nothing special, cleaners were very good. The rooftop bar was great big mention to alfonso bar man very happy at his job, and made us feel very welcome. There was a very small jacuzzi on the rooftop, you can use the swimming pool next door but the sun is never on it. Entertainment at night is catered for the Spanish, they all pile in from the next-door, hotel staff, all good, fast check-in decent room with a big king size bed, all inall decent 3 star hotel

Martha on the reception bar area was absolutely vile to me. She was rude and snatched my card from me on multiple occasions. I did mention this to reception. We ended up going to get our own alcohol as you could drink the stuff they serve all day and not get drunk. 5 pints of wine and soda didn’t touch the sides. We paid for AI and ate out most days. Breakfast was always cold. I thought lunch and dinner was ok but the rest of the party didn’t enjoy it. The rooms and hotel are nice, clean but I did have a big hole in the ceiling in my room. The pool is small but ok for us. We would have used the pool over the road but it’s in the shade. The only good thing about the hotel was Alfonso on the pool bar. Stayed here twice now and wouldn’t come back. Also a bit far away from pubs.
