What a lovely hotel! Just what was needed to unwind and relax. The rooms are lovely duplex apartments and were comfortable and clean. Cleaned daily. The pool was spotless and had the chill taken off it so it was nice to have a swim everyday. Plenty of comfortable sun loungers and always some available, occasionally towels were put out early but as the hotel was fairly quiet there wasn’t any need. You have to give 100 euro deposit for the pool towels and mini bar in the room which is returned on the last day minus what you’ve used from the mini bar. There’s a pool table and football table and some seats for relaxing undercover in the middle of the hotel. The gardens are just gorgeous and a nice touch is the bonsai trees which were all pretty amazing. We stayed bed and breakfast and found the food to be lovely, fresh omelettes cooked at request and the rest buffet style. Served 7.30-10.30. We had one night where we ate dinner there and again there was something to suit us both and lots of choice. The pool bar serves drinks and great snacks 12-3.30pm daily and in the evening there’s entertainment which the singers we heard were good. There’s a small shop next to reception for water crisps a beer fridge and general stuff you might need. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere in the evening, if you want vibe then take a trip to Puerto Rico, we had a great night there! Taxis are from a car park next to the hotel.. 5 euro to get down to melanares, where there’s some posh more upmarket restaurants than you’ll find in playa des ingles. Equally you can walk or take a free bus down there …the local buses run frequently from a stop close by. We visited Puerto de Mogán (8 euro for both of us one way) which is a stunning place!.. local buses are great for seeing the coastline but be prepared to hang on they don’t hang about!.. right on the edge of the cliffs too which was a bit scary! We would definitely return to this little oasis..

I had 10 lovely days as a solo traveller and most importantly I felt safe staying here. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk into Meloneras which wasn’t a problem to me as I love walking but may be a problem to others. There’s a free bus shuttle that runs to the beach several times a day, and there’s also a taxi rank, the bus stop is a short stroll away. Meloneras €1.40, airport €4.05
Check/in - smooth but was asked to pay €709 on arrival which had already been paid to ‘love holidays’. I then had to prove that this had been deducted from my bank account and was requested to email the hotel. After travelling all day this was a little inconvenient, guests are also asked to leave a deposit of €100 unbelievably for “towels”.
Accommodation - great, comfortable, and clean. The only negative is that the walls are thin between apartments…. The rooms are spacious with plenty of hanging space. I stayed in room 214 which was a pool view room and it was lovely sitting on the balcony with my cup of coffee early evening.
Food - I opted for half board, there was always a good choice but sadly not the hottest and this really needs to be improved. It wasn’t just a one off occurrence, it was every day. I decided to cancelled my half board and ate out each evening in Meloneras.
Breakfast , a lovely choice of fresh juices, cereals, fruit, cheeses, pastries, bread and pancakes. I found the cooked selection a disappointment as the bacon looked like grilled ham and sausages were like hot dogs. There was a choice of scrambled or fried eggs but both sadly cold, I never tried the omelette station.
Dinner, again a lovely selection of fruit, cheeses, salads etc. I opted for the soup of the day most evenings. You can select fresh fish or meat to be cooked. A choice of one or two main dishes. I loved the rice pudding dessert so didn’t try any of the others,
All pools were great with ample sun-beds to relax. The pool bar is nice with an ample lunchtime menu, they had entertainment some nights which thankfully didn’t go on too late. The gym was clean but I didn’t use it. There’s a small shop onsite which isn’t overly expensive. There are scales in reception to weigh returning suitcases for €1.
Overall, this is a lovely base for a quiet holiday. It’s a bit out of the way, however, great transport links to get around. The majority of staff were very friendly and I would return.
If you’re reading my review and you’re planning to stay please could you give the tabby cat a stroke from his friend from Northumberland.
Thank you, I hope to return on day.

Great hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast.
On arrival you’re offered a glass of bubbly.
Nice pool and sun beds. Beautifully decorated outside areas with lots and lots of plants and Bonsai trees.
Suites really comfy, shower very powerful.
Towels changed daily if you wish.
One downside, hotel is a five minute taxi ride to town/beach which we didn’t realise, however, the taxi is only 5 euros so cheap!
Hotel provides shuttle bus to beach daily.
You could walk to town but I think it would take about 30 minutes on a main road
Front of house staff very helpful.
We got a private taxi back to airport as coach wanted to pic us up 5 hrs before flight departed! Cost €50 takes 1/2 hr.
Would go again as nice chilled time.
