I recently posted a fair review ( below ) however I had had to update it based on the terrible experience I received after the hotel saw my review. After leaving my review on my last day, I was back in the room around 5.30 pm and my husband answered the phone in the room from guest relations asking if we needed any extra pillows or duvets, found it odd as we were leaving at 4am but didn’t think much more of it. After returning from dinner, our door was slightly opened which again is odd as it beeps if you don’t close it, which we would have heard. Again didn’t think anything of it. We then received another phonecall from guest relations asking the same questions about pillows/duvets so I said we’ve already had this phonecall, at this point they said they have seen my review and can I go downstairs to guest relations to meet with them - I was packing to leave so I declined. My husband then received a WhatsApp from guest relations asking what made us uncomfortable - we replied fairly saying we weren’t uncomfortable but given the amount of money we spent to come we left an honest review so families knew what to expect especially if they were in our position with a 5 year old and not much for them to do. The messages went back and forth and they asked us to reconsider our review and can we please amend it. They then asked my husband if they could send up a food and wine platter to the room, we were in bed to sleep before travelling so we replied saying no thank you and we would consider updating our review. I was woken up at 10.30pm to the door being chapped. By the time I got to the door someone with a keycard at the other side was letting themselves into my room - I saw it was a member of staff and told them no not to come in and he held up a fruit platter. My husband then came to the door and said no we do not want this please stop harassing us. We woke up to a note under our door saying they would appreciate if we change our review. We have since had multiple WhatsApp messages from the hotel since arriving back in the UK asking when we will update our review. This is now borderline harassment - a member of staff should not have tried to let himself into our room at 1030pm when we were sleeping and we even told guest relations we didn’t need the fruit platter we were going to bed. A hotel should accept a review fairly and learn from it, not harass their paying guests Original review : I would NOT recommend this hotel having stayed with my husband and 5 year old in June 2026 POOL: At the pool kids are only allowed on the water slides if they have a yellow band , any child under 7 gets given a red band. Therefore there are all the water slides that they aren’t allowed to go on, they are told they are allowed in the baby pool . Every day they do pool activities, again only including the adults. So daily there is water polo and volleyball, kids are not allowed to play. They had water boards , where an instructor lead a stretch workout, so many kids including teenagers wanted to get involved and were constantly told to get off of the boards if they tried to get on it. Advertised pool trampolines but never. Brought them out the entire 10 days. They eventually gave in and let our 5 year old play the water football because my husband made such a big fuss, then other kids joined in, however this shouldn’t be the case on holiday for the money you spend to stay here FOOD: The ‘child’ restaurant only serves spaghetti, meatballs and soup for the entire 10 days. We have an extremely typical British child who likes beige food , but they didn’t serve any chicken nuggets at dinner, it was catered to different cultures , which is great if you are adventurous with food but there was nothing plain to eat. The selection didn’t really change each night, it was the same thing on offer at the buffet. We ate at the Italian restaurant one night and the food was terrible , if I was paying for it I would have sent it back. The Chinese restaurant was always empty. We didn’t try the other restaurants but every time we walked past they were empty so no one was eating at them DRINKS: Cocktails are very limited. No frozen cocktails, they have a menu and don’t deviate from the menu NIGHTTIME ENTERTAINMENT: Extremely loud. If you sit in the grass area where they do it, you are unable to hear yourself think. Good choice of entertainment. But again for kids very limited - advertised a pj mask show and had bugs bunny, a pirate, and chase from paw patrol ROOMS: Clean, cannot fault the cleaning staff, our side boards on the floor kept falling off but that’s down to the decor rather than cleanliness. The balconies have no lights so if you plan to sit on the balcony at night your in darkness. Bed mattress is rock hard, and the blanket you get is similar to a large bath towel, if you turn the air con up you can then use the duvets in the wardrobe as the room is the nice and cold OVERALL: I wouldn’t stay here again. We stayed at the royal wings last year and it was incredible, couldn’t find a fault. This hotel has potential but it’s really lacking currently. They have a shuttle service to the beach which we did. But the part of the beach for this hotel is very rocky and run down, so it doesn’t encourage you to stay long. The hotel was clean
An amazing hotel with great services. But the animation crew desereve a special shout-out! They made our Holliday unforgettable with their incredible pool gales. Thanks to them, there was never a dull moment. Highly recommended!
Now that the dust has settled and we are back into our routine back in the Emerald Isle, I think it's time to review our family holiday in this magnificient hotel. We got to the hotel late on the first night and were a little shook up after a crazy drive down the coast from Antalya airport. I will put it like this, I will not be hiring a car to drive in Turkey when hopefully we return the year after next. But after that initial shaky start in Turkey, the rest of the holiday was a dream. So let me start with the good. First off, the staff were wonderful. They were so friendly and made a real effort to get to know me and my wife and two daughters during our time there. I must give a particular shout out to some of the excellent staff in the a la carte restaurants, patrticularly Yusuf in the Mediteranean restaurant who was an absolute gentleman. I must also give a shout out to Resul working in the Seafood restaurant who was another wonderful character. But to be honest, all the staff were so nice, from the bar staff, to the boys in the clothing shop downstairs to the lifeguards working in the pool slide area. Which brings me on to the second great thing about this hotel: the pool and slide complex. It was amazing. A huge big pool with lovely clean water and a range of water slides to keep even the oldest child (me) happy. And then there was the pool side bar and pool side snack bar where you could eat and drink as much as you liked from morning till night. Then there is the food. You will not go hungry in this hotel. The spread they put on for breakfast and evening meals is sensational. There is something for everyone. And I've never seen such an array of delicious desserts in my life. And if you want something a little fancier, you can choose one of the five a la carte restaurants on site. There is a Chinese, a Mediterannean, a seafood, a Turkish and a Mexican. The Chines and seafood ones were my personal favourites. The only down side to these were the fact that the 3/4 courses were very rushed and I would have liked a bit more time between each course. A minor complaint but I'm sure if we had asked they would have slowed down the service. I can't comment too much about the location as we didn't do too much outside the hotel as we were on an all inclusive package, but the beach was only a short walk away where we had access to a private beach area and a drinks and snack bar. Although it was a bit of a let down that you couldn't get an alcoholic beverage here but maybe it's a good thing to not have people getting drunk by the beach and causing unrest. There was also an excellent clothes oulet across the road called Dream which was absolutely fantastic for cheap designer clothes and accessories at really good prices. The nighttime entertainment was excellent for the week and the language barrier was not a drawback here as a lot of the shows/songs were in English and the rest were performance acts that didn't require understanding just watch and be amazed. The only fault I would have with the amphitheater area, which was a wonderful tiered seating area on front of a large stage, was the seating area was very dark at night which was a bit uncomfortable. A bit of lighting in the seating area would really elevate this area. The family room we stayed in was lovely and comfortable and there was plenty of space for the four of us with a large double bed and a seperate area with two single beds for the girls. The a/c worked perfectly, not like our experience in some other foreign hotels in the past, and we had a lovely outdoor balcony area looking out on the pool complex. The only downside to the rooms was the fridge got really noisy at times so I used to have to plug it out at night. The rooms themselves could also do with some minor maintenance work , but again this was a minor issue. There is something for everyone in this hotel. Obviously for the kids, my girls are 12 and 14, they absolutely loved the pool and slide complex and also really enjoyed the aracde room where they could play pool, bowling, arcade video games...etc. And of course they loved the shopping across the road. For the adults, there is a really good gym, a spa center, a turkish hairdressers, a beauty salon and more. The choices of places to eat and drink were more than adequate and kept us fed and watered from early in the morning until late at night. The only thing that left a bad taste was meeting our travel rep and the outings he talked us into. First off, he recommended we go to this clothes outlet nearby called Turkish Primark. We didn't fully realise it at the time, but this place is an absolute rip off. I literally paid double the cost for the exact same clothes I could have got across the road in Dream. He also talked us into an activity that was a good 45 minute drive from the hotel and would have taken 8 hours out of our day. We didn't really want to go but felt pressured into it. He said we had to buy it that first day as he wouldn't be around again for the week which was a lie. We din't end up going in the end and lost out on a few pound in the process. My advice to you is do not meet your travel rep as they will only try to make money off of you. The hotel information room is manned all day and they are excellent and so friendly and will give you all the information you need. And if you are on an all inclusive for a week like we were, there is absolutely no need to leave the hotel at all bar doing a bit of shopping across the road. So all in all, I could not recommend this hotel more. It was excellent value for money and more than we could have hoped for. We can't wait to go back again and hopefully we will be guests at this excellent resort again in the near future.
