Stayed for 5 nights AI from 31st May with my friend. Stayed in one of the confort double rooms which they class as modernised they are ok nothing more. Room small but ok for sleeping in. Upon checking in Reception (which is strange as you have to go up a floor to find and not very well sign posted) the staff were very friendly and helpful as I had requested a low floor and was assigned a 1st floor room. Cleaners worked hard to keep all areas clean. The AI drinks were fine however on 1st June pool bar opened and drinks were served in paper cups which sometimes after about 5 minutes started to leak - I agree with no glass around pool but reusable plastic glasses would be better. Smoking seems to be a free for all around the pool area. Not 1 parasol in the whole pool area. There was no life guard on duty until 5th June when we checked out as a Football Academy arrived and my god the kids as a previous review stated it was like Jumanji they just ran wild everywhere. Food was very hit and miss - breakfast always fine but lunch and evening meal often fatty or undercooked (chicken) and mainly fish a couple of nights we just had chip butties. Although we are both British I live in Spain and my friend Germany so we are used to and enjoy different foods and not expecting burgers & hot dogs but this was poor standard. Entertainment is for Spanish only - Spanish music and they are all up dancing which they love. 2 nights there was a "show" well 1 night a guy spinning plates and a young girl gyrating in strange positions for about 30 mins. After 3 nights we bought a pack of cards !!!!! I would not recommend this Hotel to any English sadly.
